Body Shop

In 2006 it was decided that we required the ability to paint and prepare both new and uesd vehicles in house to supply the demands of our customers. This gave us a reduction in movements costs to and from painters, shot blasters and signwritters and a paint shop which could also work around the demands of the new and used sales department. This demand has increased because all Hinos and all Isuzu's come in white, increaseing the volume in painting requirements. Although we intend to specialise in comercial vehicles we also have neumerous contracts with insurance companies where we repair all sorts of accident damaged cars, vans as well as trucks.

We have a fitted a paint booth for cars and vans but this has now been extended to include a full sized commercial vehicle paint oven suitable for all sizes of vehicles and trailers capable of handling a 40 foot curtainsider, and by July 2008 we should have a new extention built to our linkwood premises purely for the purpose of preparing new and used car's, van's and comercial vehicles.

The department is managed by John Mclean with a further 6 panel beaters / painters and a administrator with the intention to increase this shortly.

BAILLIE BROTHERS HAVE TAKEN OVER "C.A.R.S." ACCIDENT REPAIR CENTRE BASED IN PINEFIELD INDUSTRIAL ESTATE, ELGIN.

This is in addition to our existing commercial vehicle accident and repair centre and we are now carrying out repairs to cars, vans and trucks, which can consist of full cab replacement, panel repair or replacement, full resprays, touch-ups and any type of accident damage working fully with most insurance companies.
